Bad Kitty Lounge Retro Bar Cat Canvas Art

She Found the Martini Glass. She Made Herself at Home. She Has No Regrets.

The establishment is called The Bad Kitty Lounge, and the management has made no attempt to remove the cat from the cocktail. She is a sleek black creature with green eyes that suggest she has done considerably worse things than this and found them all completely reasonable. The martini is aqua. The sunburst behind her is orange and red and entirely on her side. The lettering is the kind that belongs on a vintage sign outside a bar that is open until 4am and has a story behind every stool. This is retro Americana poster art at its most committed — bold, funny, absolutely unapologetic, and genuinely beautiful in the specific way that things from the 1950s were beautiful when they were also a little dangerous.

Why You'll Love It
